The Invergarry actually goes up a few more notches with the "Breakfast" part of the B&B ...
Salmon and scrambled eggs and coffee with toast and marmalade. The Invergarry is of course a hotel really and not just a B&B so it's a little more formal but I think I am more comfortable with that than sharing some strangers house, even if I am paying for the privelege.
As I know that internet connection at Glendale requires a visit to the local community hall I decide to make use of the complimentary wi-fi to post yesterdays blog entry before departing and then it's back on the road by about 8am.
Unfortunately the weather has not improved and electronic roadside signs are beginning to to warn of very strong winds and heavy rain as I progress further North. With lowering skies and heavy rain, although the landscape is fascinating and, at times, reminds me a little of parts of Montana and/or Maine, there is nothing sufficiently dramatic to persuade me to take out the camera and/or get out of the car so by midday I have arrived at Digby and Rosemary's hideaway in Glendale.

As usual in this part of the world the GPS is slightly off and the phone reception is sporadic so I end up wandering about a bit before I finally stumble across poor Digby standing out in the rain and wind to wave to me as I drive by searching for a decent phone signal to receive more precise directions.
The rest of the day is spent with way too much good food and drink than is really neccessary but very hard to turn down. The cottage is adequate and comfortable in a dour masochistic Scottish way bit Digby and Rosemary have worked their magic on it and it's a great place to be.
Apparently the weather is going to continue this way through Saturday and some of Sunday but should be fine for our excursion with local photographer Marcus McAdam on Monday. He is going to show us all the good spots for further exploration at our liesure.
