Sunday is a day of rest …

Certainly not for any religious reason other than the weather gods appear to be unhappy.

The morning is dull and grey with a steady heavy drizzle.

I decide to go for a wander around in the car just to see what the area is like … very different from both The Cairngorms and Skye.   The Cairngorms are all about “adventure” based activities and Skye pretends to be a “crofting” community but in reality is supported by tourism. This part of the country is rolling hills all well maintained and cultivated by what appears to be “proper” farmers.

There are only a few glimpses through the continuous downpours so I decide that today is better spent indoors as tomorrow is my workshop with “Leeming and Hamilton” and we will no doubt venture out regardless of the weather.

Still, I’m looking forward to it.
